Coach Paul Hewitt, of Georgia Tech (a 2004 Final Four Finalist), was our guest speaker at our Final Four Pre-game Chalk Talk.  We should have taken his recommendation and prognosis to Las Vegas because Coach Hewitt was right on.  His team played Florida twice so he had some insight.

We had a super experience even though the Marriott logo on our hotel blew off during the tornado warning in Indianapolis.  Pictured below are Coach Hewitt and a few of our guests at Saturday’s Pre-game Chalk Talk.

What an exciting Masters!!!  Pictured below are Heath Ritenour of Insurance Office of America and a few guests as they prepare to visit Augusta National for the first time.

The weather was perfect six of the seven days.  Even the golfers appreciated the four hours of rain Saturday as Mother Nature softened up the greens to allow Phil Mickelson to shoot darts at the flag sticks.

The only problem noticed was the extra pounds I absorbed due to the great cooking of our private cooks, especially those great desserts.  Our hats off to Pat, Carla, and Dottie.  See you next April!!

The Kentucky Derby is billed as the most exciting two-minutes in sports.  This year was no exception; just ask Wanda Hartnuss of GMAC and her guests.  We started the weekend off hat shopping Thursday afternoon which set the tone for great success at the races.  There is an old wives tale that says to take your hat pin and put it through the eye of the horse on the picture of the racing form.  This pin mark will touch all of the best bets going through the form and of course it did!  We stayed at Caesars of Indiana and that luck carried over to the casino tables.
